    THE MISSION OF OCA

    To provide resources and information for the efficient administration of the judicial branch of Texas.

    The Office of Court Administration (OCA) provides FREE assistance to courts in evaluating and implementing case management and other administrative programs to improve the efficiency of court operations and the administration of justice—a key element of the OCA’s mission.

    Just some of the services offered:

    1. Evaluation of the dockets, systems, practices, and procedures of courts and development of recommendations for improvement;
    2. On-site training and technical assistance for judges and court coordinators in case and calendar management and other administrative matters;
    3. Assistance with the preparation of a court administration manual designed for the requestor’s  court that covers such things as preparing the daily court calendar, daily court dockets, etc.; and
    4. Assistance with the development of forms for case management, dismissal dockets, pretrial scheduling orders, notices, mediation orders, and any other forms that would be beneficial to the court.

    To learn more about the services offered by OCA or to request assistance, call Eva Walla, Court Services Consultant, at (512) 475-1777 or email her at Eva.Walla@courts.state.tx.us.
